Free patterns for knitting, crochet & DIY
Behind our videos and animations lie many hours on the floor, cameras on tripods and hands that adjust again and again. Before our universe comes to life on the screen, it has been alive in our hands. We have tied fishing line, adjusted angles, moved an arm one millimetre at a time – again and again. Not because it is easy. But because that is how it becomes right.
We have fumbled, over and over again – and sometimes it is only hours later, perhaps even another day, that it succeeds.
Before the ballet rabbits could dance on stage, they stood on the floor together with us.
Held up by fishing line, adjusted in small movements, while the camera stood completely still. The movements are created slowly.
Each step is thought through.

At Go handmade, there is pride in the fact that our yarns have been taken to heart by some of the most popular and acclaimed designers across Europe – from Italy, France, Poland and the Netherlands to Denmark and the UK.
What’s special is that the designers found our yarns themselves. There was no push from us – they picked up the yarn, worked with it and found a love we naturally recognise, the kind that can only be genuine.
For a designer, the choice of yarn is a key part of making a design stand strong. It is about being able to stand by that choice – both to those who follow their work and to those who buy the patterns. The yarn plays one of the leading roles and is therefore chosen with care. The other leading role belongs, of course, to the designer.
So when they choose to use our yarns in their work, we see it as a significant seal of quality.
