Vintage is a classic wool yarn with 70% wool and 30% bamboo. The combination gives strength, warmth and durability from the wool – and softness, lightness and a gentle sheen from the bamboo.
It is the yarn behind some of our most loved patterns, such as the famous mice Anna & Peter and Mice Sisters. Here Vintage truly shines – the little jumpers and dresses gain both a charming look and a durability that lets them be kept as small heirlooms.
Vintage is also perfect for classic jumpers and cardigans for winter days. The wool makes the work warm and hard‑wearing, while the bamboo ensures it feels light and comfortable. And wool has the special property of being able to ‘clean itself’ – often it is enough to air a wool sweater outside in humid air; it freshens up and feels almost like new.
