Happy Chunky is a chenille yarn of unusually fine quality.
When you hold the yarn in your hands, you immediately feel that the quality is unmistakable.
How the yarn is constructed
Happy Chunky consists of two strong, parallel core threads.
Between them, a dense layer of uniform fibres is laid as tiny loops, while the machine gives the threads a slight twist so the fibres are held in place.
The machine then cuts the loops through the middle – like cutting them free – and at the same moment the fibres rise and form the velour‑soft, full surface for which chenille yarn is known.
