Cocktail ”deluxe” is our take on an elegant effect yarn – a thread that brings lustre and finesse.
In its category it sits right at the top, especially for flexibility and softness, which makes it comfortable to crochet and knit with.
The thread can be used on its own for shawls and accessories, but it also works really well in rib edges, cast‑on edges and small details where a discreet, lovely touch is desired.
Cocktail ”deluxe” is produced by combining a soft polyester core with very narrow metallic strips.
The strips are braided around the core and gently heat‑treated so the thread gains its flexible structure, even lustre and the special softness that makes it pleasant to work with.
The result is a light, supple thread with an elegant sheen – just as suitable for fine edges as for complete projects.
